Team Results
10/26/2011 the Bulldogs defeated Parkside 2 games to 0, finishing the season at 9 and 1 overall.  The B team lost in 3 games.  Great job both teams and all girls and managers.
10/24/2011 The girls played well and served well to defeat Stonewall in 2 games 25-12 and 25-16.  The B team also won in two with strong serving and good communication.  25-19 and 25-19.  great job ladies
10/19/2011 in a good match, the girls lost to bull run 27-25, 25-7, and 15-12.  The girls struggled with passing and communicating.  The B team also lost 25-17 and 25-11.  the girls will look to rebound against Stonewall.
10/17/2011 in another exciting and competitive match the A team beat Gainesville 2 games to 1, 25-19, 25-23, and 15-12.  The girls played well and worked hard to to again take control of the third game.  The B team won in 2 games 27-25 and 25-16.  Alli Wisbey ended the back in forth first game with a kill and the B 2 team served well throughout the game to win.  Great job ladies.
10/12/2011 the lady bulldogs beat beville 2 games to 0, 25-17 and 25-11.  the girls were led my Meagan Sanchez serving and Hope webb setting.  great job A team.  the B team also won in 2 games 25-9 and 25-20.  great job both teams.
10/10/2011 THE BULLDOGS AGAIN RALLIED TO DEFEAT PARKSIDE 2-1 23-25, 25-16, AND 15-10.  BOTH TEAMS PLAYED REALLY WELL DEFENSIVELY.  THE BULLDOGS RALLIED BEHIND GOOD SERVING TO TAKE CONTROL AND WIN THE THIRD GAME
THE B TEAM WON 25-23 AND 25-17.  THE GIRLS PLAYED TOUGH, TALKED AND WORKED TOGETHER IN THE VICTORY
10/5/2011 THE BULLDOGS A TEAM DEFEATED STONEWALL 2-0 25-21 AND 25-6.  AGAIN THE GIRLS SERVED REALLY WELL AND PLAYED A COMPLETE ALL AROUND GAME.
THE B TEAM WON 2-1 25-17, 22-25, AND 15-8. AGAIN THE GIRLS PLAYED  WELL AND SERVED WELL IN THE VICTORY
10/3/2011 THE A TEAM CAME FROM BEHIND TO DEFEAT BULL RUN 13-25, 25-14, AND 16-14.  THE GIRLS SHOWED LOTS OF HEART AND DETERMINATION TO OVERCOME THE FIRST GAME LOSS.  GREAT JOB A TEAM

THANKS TO ALL
I would like to thanks all Players and Parents for the gift that was given to me at the end of season party.  i especially want to thank all the players for their hard work from day one until the season ended.  I would like to wish all of my 8th graders continued success in the future as they move forward into high school.  Thanks to the parents for coming out and supporting the team and allowing your daughters to be apart of the program.  Again, thank you all for your effort and support.

Concussion Education Sessions
     
     All student athletes and their parents or guardians will be required to attend a concussion education session provided by their respective middle and high schools. Attendance at one of these sessions is required before a student will be allowed to try out for any sport. Participation in the concussion education session is mandated by state law (Virginia Code 22.1-271.5). A concussion is a brain injury that is characterized by an onset of impairment of cognitive and/or physical functioning, and is caused by a blow to the head, face, or neck, or to the body that causes a sudden jarring of the head (e.g., a helmet to the head, being knocked to the ground). A concussion can occur with or without loss of consciousness.
 
     Prince William County Public Schools supports the need to ensure that its staff, students, and the community are aware of the seriousness of brain injuries and concussions and how they can affect the student’s abilities in the educational setting. In April 2011, the Prince William County School Board adopted a concussion policy that meets the Virginia Code. The law requires parents and students to sign a form attesting that they received training prior to any level of student participation in athletics.

     Sessions will be held on Sept. 7, Nov. 2, Jan. 10, and March 13.  We will begin promptly at 6:30 and please bring a pen.
Summer Camp
This years summer camp will be July 25-July 29th from 9am until 12 pm.  Cost is $85.00 and the registration can be found at the bottom of the page in the files.
